3.1 Passenger and Booking Information
- Name, email address, phone number, country, and preferred language.
- Pickup address, destination address, airport, terminal, flight number, pickup date and time, return date and time, number of passengers, luggage count, vehicle type, special ride preferences, and trip notes.
- Fare details, tips, discounts, tolls, waiting time, cancellation fees, no-show fees, and payment status.
- Booking history, ride status, driver assignment, support requests, and customer service communications.
3.2 Driver and Vehicle Information
- Name, phone number, email address, profile information, driver status, and account credentials.
- Driver license, vehicle documents, insurance details, vehicle make, model, color, license plate, photos, and other documentation required for safety, compliance, and operations.
- Driver location while using the driver app or while online, trip evidence, ride activity, earnings-related records, and support communications.
3.3 Payment Information
- Payment intent, authorization, capture, refund, and transaction status.
- Limited card details returned by our payment processor, such as card brand, expiration month/year, and last four digits.
- Billing-related information needed to process payments, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, and maintain accounting records.
Vukea does not store full card numbers, CVV codes, or complete payment credentials on its servers. Card payments are processed by third-party payment providers such as Stripe.
3.4 Technical, Device, and Usage Information
- IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, language, approximate location, pages visited, timestamps, referring pages, clicks, errors, and session activity.
- Analytics and session information used to understand how visitors use our booking process and to improve the customer experience.

- Maps and location providers: We may share addresses, routes, coordinates, or location-related information with mapping and routing services to calculate distances, ETAs, and pickup or drop-off details.

We do not sell your full payment card information. We also do not knowingly sell personal information of minors.
7. Payment Processing and Card Security
Vukea uses third-party payment providers to handle card transactions. When you enter card details, that information is processed through the payment provider's secure tools and is not stored in full by Vukea. We may receive limited payment details, such as the last four digits of the card, card brand, payment method ID, transaction ID, authorization status, capture status, refund status, and related payment metadata.
Some rides may involve a card authorization, hold, partial capture, additional waiting time, cancellation charges, or refund. Payment information may be used to complete the reservation, charge the final amount owed, release unused authorized amounts, prevent fraud, and resolve disputes.
8. Location Information
Location information is important for transportation services. We may collect pickup and destination addresses from passengers, active trip locations, route-related data, and driver location while the driver is using Vukea tools or is available for trips.
Driver location may be used to show availability, assign trips, verify arrival, provide ETAs, support dispatch, improve safety, and resolve disputes. Passenger location may be used when the passenger provides it or when it is needed to support pickup, routing, or customer service.
9. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide services, maintain business records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent fraud, and protect safety.
- Booking and trip records: kept as needed for operations, customer service, accounting, tax, insurance, safety, and dispute purposes.
- Payment and billing records: kept as required for accounting, tax, payment disputes, fraud prevention, and legal obligations.
- Driver documents: kept while the driver account is active and for a reasonable period afterward where required for compliance, insurance, claims, or records.
- Support communications: kept as needed to resolve requests, improve service, and maintain business records.
- Analytics data: retained according to the settings of the analytics provider and our business needs, and may be aggregated or de-identified.
When information is no longer needed, we may delete, anonymize, or securely archive it, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.
