These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) form a binding agreement between you and Vukea Corp. (“Vukea,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) and govern your access to and use of our websites, mobile experiences (if any), booking channels, and ground-transportation services, including trips provided directly by us or by our vetted affiliate carriers (the “Services”). By using the Services, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy (incorporated by reference).

If you do not agree, do not use the Services.


1) Definitions

  • Account – the profile you create to book and manage Services.
  • Booking – a confirmed reservation for transportation or related services.
  • Passenger – the person(s) being transported under a Booking.
  • Driver – a professional driver engaged by Vukea or by a licensed affiliate carrier.
  • Vehicle – the car, SUV, van, or other vehicle assigned to a Booking.
  • Affiliate – an independent, licensed carrier or subcontractor engaged by Vukea to deliver part or all of a Service.

2) Eligibility & Your Responsibilities

You must be at least 18 to make a Booking. You represent that:

  • the information you provide is true, accurate, and complete;
  • you have authority to bind any Passenger(s) you book for; and
  • you will comply (and ensure your Passengers comply) with these Terms and with all applicable laws.

You are responsible for:

  • the conduct and safety of your party;
  • any fees arising from damage, cleaning, delays, extra stops, or rule violations; and
  • securing valid travel documents (IDs, visas) and complying with airport or venue rules.

3) Nature of Our Services

Vukea provides professional ground transportation using our own fleet and trusted affiliates. In some markets, Vukea acts as a transportation provider; in others, Vukea acts as a ground-transportation organizer and dispatch platform that arranges rides with licensed local carriers. In either case, quality and safety standards apply equally.

We are not an air, rail, or maritime carrier and do not provide emergency services. For emergencies, call local authorities (e.g., 911 in the U.S.).


4) Booking, Changes & Cancellations

4.1 Making a Booking

A Booking is confirmed when you receive a written confirmation (on-screen and/or by email). Please review it carefully. You must promptly notify us of any errors.

4.2 Rates & What’s Included

Unless stated otherwise in your confirmation:

  • Prices are quoted per vehicle, not per passenger.
  • Reasonable route-based tolls and standard taxes are included only if shown in the quote.
  • Gratuities are voluntary unless explicitly itemized.
  • Extra stops, parking, waiting time beyond the grace period, additional pickups, changes in route or destination, or out-of-area mileage may incur additional charges.

4.3 Waiting Time & No-Show

  • Airport pickups: We track flights when a flight number is provided. Grace period begins at actual gate arrival. Standard grace period is 60 minutes for international and 45 minutes for domestic arrivals.
  • Non-airport pickups: Grace period is 15 minutes from the scheduled pickup time.
  • After the grace period, waiting time is billed in 15-minute increments at the then-current rate.
  • If the Passenger is not present and unreachable after reasonable efforts during/after the grace period, the ride is treated as a no-show and is non-refundable.

4.4 Changes

Changes are subject to availability and may affect pricing. If a change request cannot be accommodated and you choose to cancel, the cancellation policy below applies.

4.5 Cancellations & Refunds (Default Policy)

Unless your confirmation states a different policy:

  • Sedans/SUVs/vans (point-to-point): Free cancellation up to 2 hours before pickup.
  • Hourly/charter service and special events: Free cancellation up to 24 hours before pickup.
  • For late cancellations or no-shows, the full fare is charged.
  • Refunds (if any) are issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days after approval.
    Note: Peak dates, large parties, specialty vehicles, intercity/long-distance trips, and third-party costs (permits, parking, ferries, tickets) may be non-refundable once confirmed. Your confirmation email controls.

5) Payment, Authorization & Fraud

You authorize us (and our payment processor) to charge your payment method for estimated charges at booking and for any post-ride adjustments (waiting time, extra stops, cleaning/damage fees, tolls, out-of-scope mileage). You agree not to submit chargebacks without first contacting us to resolve the issue in good faith. We may cancel Bookings that appear fraudulent, unauthorized, or abusive.

Currency, taxes, and fees are shown at checkout. You are responsible for any bank or card issuer fees (including FX fees).


6) Service Rules (Safety & Comfort)

6.1 Seatbelts & Capacity

Seatbelts are mandatory where required by law. Vehicles cannot carry more passengers or luggage than their rated capacity. The Driver may decline unsafe loads.

6.2 Child Seats

Child seats can be provided by request and subject to availability and a rental fee. The adult Passenger is responsible for verifying correct installation and ensuring compliance with local child-restraint laws.

6.3 Luggage

Standard luggage allowances apply by vehicle class. Oversize/overweight or hazardous items (e.g., flammables, explosives) are not permitted. Please tell us in advance about strollers, sports equipment, or mobility aids so we can assign an appropriate vehicle.

6.4 Pets & Service Animals

Legally recognized service animals are welcome. Pets are permitted only in secure carriers and may incur a cleaning fee. Please notify us in advance.

6.5 No Smoking/Drugs/Alcohol

Smoking and vaping are prohibited in all vehicles. Open containers of alcohol may be restricted by law. Illegal drugs are strictly forbidden. The Driver may refuse service if a Passenger is disorderly, poses a safety risk, or requests illegal acts; applicable fees will still apply.

6.6 Weather, Traffic & Force Majeure

We are not responsible for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control (e.g., traffic, road closures, weather, strikes, disasters). We will make reasonable efforts to minimize impact or offer options.


7) Special Service Types

7.1 Hourly/Charter

Hourly service includes a designated number of consecutive hours and a defined service area. Overtime, additional mileage, or out-of-area travel will be billed at the prevailing rate.

7.2 Multi-Stop & Groups

Extra stops must be requested in advance or with the Driver (subject to time and safety). Large groups may require multiple vehicles. Group organizer remains responsible for all charges.

7.3 Airport Meet & Greet

If included or purchased, our greeter will meet Passengers at a designated point. Parking or airport fees may apply.


8) Conduct, Losses & Cleaning/Damage Fees

You are responsible for any damage to the Vehicle or equipment caused by you or your party (including deep cleaning due to spills, smoke, or bio incidents). Standard cleaning fee may be up to USD 250 (or actual cost if higher with receipt). Vukea is not responsible for lost or forgotten items; however, we will make reasonable efforts to assist. Storage/shipping costs are your responsibility.


9) Accounts, Communications & E-Signature

When you create an Account, you must keep your credentials confidential and notify us of any suspected breach. By contacting us or completing a Booking, you consent to receive transactional emails, SMS/WhatsApp messages, and calls related to your rides. You agree that clicking “Book,” “Confirm,” or similar constitutes your electronic signature.


10) Promotions, Vouchers & Gift Cards

Promotions are subject to their own terms and may be changed or withdrawn at any time. Unless stated otherwise, promotions are one-time, non-transferable, and not redeemable for cash. Suspected abuse may result in cancellation.


11) Third-Party Services

Maps, payments, flight-tracking, and communication tools may be provided by third parties. We are not responsible for third-party outages, errors, or data practices. Your use of those services may be governed by their own terms.


12) Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information. It is incorporated into these Terms. By using the Services, you consent to our data practices as described there.


13) Intellectual Property

All content on the Site—including text, logos, graphics, photos, and software—is owned by Vukea or its licensors and protected by law. You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works except as expressly permitted in writing.

You may submit reviews, feedback, or suggestions. You grant Vukea a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and display such content for business purposes, with or without attribution, provided we do not misrepresent you.


14) Non-Discrimination & Accessibility

Vukea prohibits discrimination against Passengers or Drivers based on race, color, national origin, religion, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, age, disability, or lawful source of income. We aim to accommodate reasonable accessibility requests with advance notice.


15) Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • The Services are provided “as is” and “as available.”
  • We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, real-time availability, or that every requested vehicle class or feature will be available in every market.

16) Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Vukea’s total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Services or these Terms will not exceed the amount you paid to Vukea for the Booking giving rise to the claim in the six (6) months preceding the event. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, lost profits, or loss of data—even if advised of the possibility.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those places, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted.


17) Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Vukea, its directors, employees, drivers, and affiliates from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to:
(a) your use of the Services; (b) your breach of these Terms; (c) your violation of any law or third-party right; or (d) claims related to the conduct of you or your party during a ride.


18) Force Majeure

We are not responsible for failure or delay in performance due to events beyond our reasonable control, including acts of God, natural disasters, epidemics, governmental actions, labor disputes, war, terrorism, or network/utility failures. If a force-majeure event occurs, we may suspend or cancel affected Services and will work with you on reasonable alternatives.


19) Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Services or cancel a Booking for any lawful reason, including safety concerns, suspected fraud, or violations of these Terms. You may stop using the Services at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive (e.g., payments due, IP, disclaimers, limits of liability, indemnity, governing law) will survive termination.


20) Governing Law & Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, USA, without regard to conflicts-of-law principles. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the state and federal courts located in New York County, New York, for any dispute not subject to another mandatory venue by law.

If your local law requires a different governing law or venue for consumer contracts, that law and venue will apply to the extent required.


21) Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date shows the latest revision. Material changes will apply prospectively. Your continued use of the Services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance.


22) Miscellaneous

  • Severability: If any provision is invalid, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
  • No Waiver: Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
  • Assignment: You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign them to an affiliate or in connection with a merger, sale, or reorganization.
  • Entire Agreement: These Terms, your Booking confirmation, and the Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and Vukea regarding the Services.
